The
Story of A Fare to Remember -
Why another hot sauce?
A
Fare to Remember, why in a
market already flooded with hot sauces?
Once upon a time Grandma and
Grandpa went to
Mexico
for an extended vacation. While
there Grandpa developed a taste for a hot sauce, which is surprising
because Grandpa can’t tolerate hot foods.
He discovered that it has a nice bite to it that wakes up the
taste buds without hanging around all day to remind you that you enjoyed
some spicy food. When he came home Grandpa tried to buy some of this
sauce but couldn’t find it anywhere so with Grandma’s help he
started trying to recreate the sauce.
After about three years, they think they have it recreated and it
is too good to keep to themselves. That
is why A Fare to Remember was born. We
are confident that you will enjoy it as much as Grandpa does.
Three levels of intensity of our
original chipotle sauce have
been concocted to satisfy a wide range of connoisseurs:
The mild level is for those of
us that want the spicy flavor without the bite.
The medium level is for the
average palate and provides a bit more of the Chipotle flavor without
the threat of paying the price later.
The hot level is a full bodied
Chipotle flavor designed to cater to the serious spicy food lover.
It is definitely not for sissies.
In July of 2004, we were happy
to introduce four new fruited varieties of our chipotle sauce. The
fruited varieties are all medium intensity. Be
sure to try them all!
